Grab your besties and wear your favorite shade of pink because Troop Mahjong Galentine’s Open Play is happening at Raleigh Racquet Club on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM. This special open play event is all about friendship, fun, and a little friendly competition around the mahjong table.
This event also serves as a partial reschedule of our Troop Mahjong New Year’s 2026 Open Play from January 24th which was cancelled due to inclement weather. We’re grateful for everyone’s flexibility and are excited to bring the energy back with a festive Galentine’s twist.
What to Expect at Galentine’s Open Play
This event is designed for players who already know the basics of American mahjong and are ready to enjoy relaxed, social play. Expect beautiful tables, plenty of laughs, delicious food, gifts and prizes, and a welcoming atmosphere where players can connect and enjoy the game together.
To match the Galentine’s theme, we’re leaning into all things fun, festive, and friendship-focused. Think cozy vibes, great company, and an afternoon that feels equal parts game night and celebration.

Mahjong sets, mats, and accessories will be provided, so you can simply show up ready to play and enjoy.
A Note on the January 24th Reschedule
This event replaces the January 24th Troop Mahjong Open Play that was postponed due to weather. Registered players from the January date may attend this February 7th event or take advantage of other ticket options previously shared.
