This Greek Yogurt Dip from FIVEhearthome is a creamy, healthy, all-natural appetizer that’s perfect for fresh veggies, pita, or party spreads. It’s made with plain Greek yogurt, bright herbs like parsley and dill, a splash of apple cider vinegar, and simple seasonings like garlic and onion powder, salt, and pepper to build flavor.

How it’s made
• Combine the Greek yogurt with minced fresh parsley, dill, apple cider vinegar, and seasonings until smooth.
• Chill the dip for at least four hours (ideally 8 hours or overnight) so the herbs and flavors meld and deepen.

Tips and tweaks
• You can use low-fat or full-fat yogurt if you prefer; the dip still tastes great.
• If you don’t have fresh herbs, dried parsley and dill will work but use about one-third the amount because dried herbs are more concentrated.
• If the dip ends up too thick after chilling, thin it with a little milk to get your ideal consistency.

Instructions

  1. Measure the Greek yogurt into a medium bowl. Mix in the parsley, dill, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well incorporated. Taste and adjust the seasonings, adding more salt if necessary.

  2. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to blend. Garnish with additional fresh herbs, if desired, and serve with raw veggies and/or pita wedges.
